Nemanja Radoja is ‘in conflict’ with his club, report Faro de Vigo.
The 25 year old Serbian midfielder has a contract expiring at the end of June. That means he can sign an agreement for a free transfer with clubs outside of Spain from January 1st onwards.
Celta Vigo had been looking to avoid this situation but talks over a renewal broke down, and that leaves player and club in a difficult situation.
The local Celta Vigo source says that despite Radoja training as normally with the Spanish side, the club aren’t counting on him because of the current situation.
At the weekend, La Voz de Galicia reported the player and Aston Villa ‘have an agreement’ over a transfer.
It was explained that all that’s needed for a move to happen is for Villa to also sort out an agreement with Celta Vigo.
Faro de Vigo reference interest from the Championship club again, and given how broken-down his situation seems, it’s unlikely to take a huge offer from Aston Villa for a January move.
