Following a summer exit from West Ham United, it seems Armstrong Oko-Flex will be heading to Serie C.
According to Il Centro, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb, the winger is now close to joining Pescara as a free agent.
The Italian club are reportedly preparing a ‘double shot’ as they’re about to agree deals for Oko-Flex and Fiorentina’s Samuele Spalluto.
He even made an appearance for the Hammers’ first team last season, being used in the Europa Conference League match against Viborg FF.
The winger, however, didn’t have any other chances to play in David Moyes’ side. That’s why in January, he ended up being loaned to Swansea City, where he made 13 appearances.
West Ham didn’t want to give him a new contract, and with the Welsh club apparently not moving for a permanent transfer either, he’s now set to have his first experience outside of the UK.
Oko-Flex played for both England and Ireland youth ranks, but is a long way from a full international debut.
