Viktor Gyokeres is continuing his fine form this season at Sporting CP, this time netting a hat-trick over Moreirense.

The striker, who now has 47 goals in 46 matches in all competitions this season, has been linked with a move to the Premier League for the summer window.

After his side’s 3-1 win on Friday, Gyokeres was once again asked about his future, amid speculation that Arsenal and Chelsea are keen on snapping him up at the end of the campaign.

When pressed by Sport TV, he replied: “I can’t predict the future. We’ll see what happens in the summer. Now, it’s enjoy. We have very important games still. That’s where the focus is.”

Asked to comment on London as a potential destination, the Sweden international replied: “I like Lisbon. I don’t know, I can’t say much about it.”

Earlier this month claims from Portugal stated that he had ‘given a yes’ to Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta, who recently joined up at the Emirates Stadium. It’s no secret that the Gunners are in need of an elite striker, and Gyokeres fits the bill perfectly.

Last Friday, A Bola reported of their interest and Chelsea’s plan to steal the march on their London rivals.

The publication also affirmed that the 26-year-old has an agreement with Sporting to leave for around €70m – despite his official release clause being €100m.
