La Plata outlet El Dia brings some updates on the situation of Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo.
Even though his loan spell at Estudiantes expired in June, the player is still to leave his home town, and continues waiting for a decision regarding his future.
El Dia writes that Marcos Rojo has no forecast about his return to England and joining Manchester United again, he hasn’t been given a strong indication.
It’s claimed that the 30-year-old is actually interested in continuing training with Estudiantes once the Argentine side get back to work. That would only happen with authorisation from the Red Devils.
Estudiantes and Rojo’s representatives continue working for the defender to stay at the Argentine club for longer, at least until the end of the year.
El Dia says the player would like to stay with El Pincha, and the club are willing to forget all the disciplinary problems he’s had during the six-month loan spell.
But that should all depend on Manchester United’s decision.
