It seems that ABC Sevilla were right when, on Tuesday morning, they reported that Chadi Riad would soon have his medicals ahead of his Crystal Palace move.
According to El Chiringuito, the player has already landed in London to take the next steps for the transfer.
The player still officially belongs to Barcelona, but Betis, who had him on a loan spell his season, are about to buy him before selling him to the Premier League side.
The reports from the Spanish media claim the green and white club are paying Barça €3m for the signing, having negotiated him with Crystal Palace for €16m.
Betis are taking 50% of the profit and sending it to Barcelona, so they make much less with the sale.
That may sound a little complicated, but the fact is that Crystal Palace managed to push that deal quite early ahead of the summer window, and should soon make his arrival to Selhurst Park official.
