Portuguese newspapers A Bola and O Jogo both have the information today that Victor Lindelof has already left the country.

He’s flown to Vasteras, his hometown, where according to the stories, he waits for Manchester United and Benfica to close the deal.

CapturarAccording to O Jogo, the player watched a hockey game last night and is expected in a futsal match which will raise money for Syrian refugees tonight.

A Bola claims that Manchester United want to close the transfer quickly, since the club want the player to join the squad as soon as possible.

Lindelof is expected to join Manchester United on a €45m deal. The defender, who earned €200k per season at Benfica, will have his salary raised to €3.5m per year at the English club.

Considering that the Swede joined Benfica in 2012 for €60k and only has a €30m release clause, you must agree that no country knows how to make money from their stars as well as Portugal.
