There have been some good news in Aston Villa’s talks with Juventus for the transfer of Douglas Luiz.
Earlier on Thursday, the Italian media had claimed there was still no agreement for the inclusion of Enzo Barrenechea in the deal.
However, Calcio Mercato is now back to say that the Argentine player has given the green light for the move, and Juventus are now more confident that the deal will take place.
The Old Lady’s latest proposal to sign Douglas Luiz is €25m plus the transfers of Barrenechea and Samuel Iling-Junior, as Weston McKennie is now out of the scenario.
It’s said there have been new contacts between Juventus and Aston Villa, and talks are continuing for the ‘white smoke’ to come soon.
Calcio Mercato highlights that the deal must be found in less than ten days, as the English club need the money before the end of the month to square off their accounts.
Aston Villa reportedly value Douglas Luiz at €60m, and Juventus are doing their best to reach that amount with everything they can offer.
