The Italian media continues to sound pretty confident that West Ham midfielder Felipe Anderson will be moving back to Lazio this summer.

This morning, we’d already seen newspaper Corriere Della Serra reporting that the clubs had found an agreement in which the player will move on a €3m deal, with the Premier League side keeping 50% of a future move.

Now it’s time for a few more details to be revealed by website La Lazio Siamo Noi. Their story confirms that the transfer is being done for that amount, and claims that Felipe Anderson is making a big effort to make the transfer possible.

According to their article, the player is accepting a salary which is half of what he earns at West Ham. That will be a contract worth €2m per season in a five-year deal.

La Lazio Siamo Noi says the Italian club are trying to close the deal as soon as possible. So it could be concluded at the weekend or ‘even before that’.

Signed by West Ham on a €38m deal from Lazio in 2018, the Brazilian should leave the Hammers with 12 goals and 13 assists in 73 appearances for the club.
