Jesús Vázquez continues to be linked with Leeds United by the Spanish media, and their chances of getting the youngster, likely on loan, may be improving.

Reports in Spain first stated Victor Orta is looking for a young left-back, and that saw him identify the Valencia player.

The 19-year-old has only had 149 minutes of La Liga action so far this season, and El Desmarque insist he wants to be a protagonist now, feeling he’s ready for first team football.

Vázquez sees his future at Valencia, wanting to become a star at the club, and they also value his potential. However, he has a clause which allows him to leave on loan in January if he’s not getting a set number of minutes.

Talks are set to be held to find a solution and El Desmarque suggest a loan could be the answer, with them pointing out loans helped David Silva become a star at Valencia.

Whether Leeds United would want a loan, though, is surely questionable. Orta looking for a young fullback would suggest he wants an investment for the future who can grow in stature and value, and a temporary deal for Vázquez wouldn’t represent that.
