Bein Sports Turkey Besiktas’ reporter Gurler Akgun has given the an update with regards to Fabri’s proposed transfer to the Premier League.

Yesterday we covered claims from Turkey that Fulham have made a €4.5m bid to sign the Besiktas goalkeeper.

Akgun has backed-up that an offer has come in from the Premier League without naming Fulham, and added the Turkish side’s board and manager Senol Gunes will now make a decision: “Yes, Fabri has an offer from the Premier League. It’s a serious one but Besiktas don’t want to lose their first choice goalkeeper.

“But they haven’t closed the door. The final decision will be made by the club’s board and Senol Gunes and if Besiktas sells Fabri, they are likely to get a new goalkeeper.”

Despite Bein Sports not mentioning Fulham, the offer is likely to have come from the West London club after reports in the past 24 hours.

It was claimed yesterday Fulham’s initial offer of €3.5m was turned down by Besiktas and subsequently they came in with an improved bid of €4.5m. The Turkish club are reportedly looking for €6m from Fulham.
