Sporting star Bruno Fernandes already knows he will be heading to England, according to newspaper Correio da Manhã today.
The outlet says that the midfielder has been told about the move by his agent last Saturday at the Jamor stadium. He just doesn’t know if he’s signing for Manchester United and Manchester City.
The story starts with the fact that the player wanted to focus on the cup final and not know anything about his future.
Fernandes’ agent Miguel Pinho respected his wish, and after the penalty shootout against Porto, he went to the pitch, took the player away from the crowd, and told him about the offers he has. They both smiled, hugged, kissed and went back to the other people.
Fernandes now knows the situation surrounding his future is ‘well underway’, and Correio da Manhã, as well as publishing the pictures of his chat with his agent, once again state he has offers both from Manchester City and from Manchester United.
The player also attended to ‘Programa da Cristina’, a TV show from SIC, this Tuesday. Regarding his future, he said: “The English league is the one I like most, by that I’m already saying something”.
Newspaper Record covers the quotes, saying Manchester City are leading the race, but Sporting are still waiting for bids from Manchester United, PSG and Atletico Madrid. The Lions would be demanding €70m to let him go.
