Adama Traore has been receiving a lot of good press in Spain recently.

The Wolves star received a call-up from the Spanish national side last year and that’s part of the reason for the hype, but what the media seem most interested in is the player’s muscles.

Wednesday’s edition of Sport has an article on the ‘incredible’ Wolves player and they’ve done some work to find out what’s behind his ‘physical transformation’.

Traore has been working with Global Performance for a while to get himself in the best condition possible to shine in the Premier League. The company is based in Barcelona but Oscar Rodriguez, the CEO, has moved full time to England to work ‘exclusively’ with the Wolves man.

Rodriguez has set up a gym in the player’s house and the process is ongoing, with Traore having big aims for his future.

The trainer is quoted as saying: “We don’t talk about strength, but about power. When he arrived at our centre in Barcelona he started with isoinercial training. A footballer, to be professional, must give more than 600 watts of power and Adama stayed at 590. Now, he already exceeds one thousand.”

Playing for Spain is now a ‘dream’ for the player, and it’s clear he’s prepared to do whatever it takes to reach his goals.
