David Moyes left West Ham United at the end of last season, having been with the London club since 2019. It was his second spell with the Hammers and despite some joy, including the wonderful night they won the UEFA Europa Conference League, things had become somewhat stale and a change was needed.
Julen Lopetegui took over after weeks of the Hammers trying to source and convince their ideal replacement, and the Spaniard so far has four points from four Premier League matches as he looks to stamp his own style on the club.
Moyes has been out of work since he left the West Ham role, and agents appear to be trying to get him a new job.
Gazzetta dello Sport report ‘phones have been ringing’ at AC Milan as Paulo Fonseca struggles with the Rossoneri. The Italian newspaper states agents are proposing their clients and the only name attached to that is David Moyes.
According to Gazzetta, Milan don’t need names presenting to them because should they part ways with Fonseca they’ve got a good idea of what they want, and the likeliest option right now is thought to be Maurizio Sarri.
