Mundo Deportivo claims West Ham United are one of the sides who have asked about the Portuguese international.
The La Liga winners are looking to offload the 24-year-old, just two years after signing him from Valencia, and they’ve been struggling to find serious interest despite all the claims.
Manuel Pellgrini has already spent big to strengthen the Hammers’ squad. The Chilean manager still ‘insists’ the club secure the services of the former Valencia man, according to Mundo.
The Catalan newspaper reports the Blaugrana are interested in the English club’s teenager Domingos Quina, and that both deals are being considered with ‘wide open ears’.
The La Liga winners have received excellent reports about the 18-year-old following his impressive display for Portugal at the 2018 European Under-19 championship. His side have reached the final where they will face Italy on July 29th.
Quina’s contract with the English club runs down in 2019. If Barcelona manage to secure his services, he will play for their B team. West Ham are said to be willing to take Gomes, while the Spanish champions are interested in ‘two operations’, this all sounds too perfect for Barca… but it is being reported by a Catalan newspaper.
