As soon as Patrick Vieira was announced as the new Crystal Palace boss, it was fairly clear Nice players were going to be linked at some point.

It’s part of the transfer game, as former clubs are always seen as an ideal hunting place since managers know what they are getting from their ex-players.

It didn’t take long for Kasper Dolberg to be named, especially after his impressive Euros performances, but Christophe Galtier, Nice’s new manager, made it clear he’d rather count on the Dane if he could.

TuttoMercatoWeb on Thursday published an article looking at what the Ligue 1 side are doing, labelling it an exclusive along the way, where they touch upon the future of the Denmark international.

Stating that Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace are after the striker, it’s explained Nice ‘don’t consider him unsellable’, but they have made it clear ‘he would only leave for an indecent proposal’.

What that is isn’t said, but you would imagine it would be much more than the £18.5m they paid Ajax for him in the first place, especially with a contract in the south of France tying him to the club until 2024.

Either way, Crystal Palace have been warned.
