Torino’s Gleison Bremer is expected to be the subject of a transfer battle in the summer window, with multiple Serie A sides linked with the player.

This season he’s worked his way up to be one of the most highly rated defenders in Italian football. That’s also seen links with several Premier Leagues clubs, with Tottenham Hotspur often popping up in stories.

However, Bremer isn’t the only Torino player who has caught Spurs’ interest.

Wednesday’s edition of Tuttosport, a Turin sport newspaper, brings Tottenham back into the picture for Wilfried Stephane Singo.

The 21-year-old can play at right-back, as a right wing-back, or even on the right side of midfield. He’s made 30 appearances this season, with three goals and four assists, and has a contract with Torino lasting until June 2023.

There’s an option on that deal for a further year, so it’s not quite a panic situation.

Tuttosport say Fabio Paratici has been working to open negotiations ‘in the last few days’.

Antonio Conte is thought to be a fan, but Torino don’t want to sell and have told Tottenham that. Regardless, it’s expected the Premier League club will arrive with an offer.

Torino would like to keep Singo, knowing a Bremer exit is on the cards, but the figures put forward will be key.
