It appears Fabio Paratici has made his first move as the director of football of Tottenham, and It involves a striker.
Calciomercato.it on Monday afternoon are reporting that three clubs have made offers to Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic, and one of them are Spurs.
The website explain the striker has ‘three offers on the table’, one from Milan and the other from Atlético Madrid and Tottenham.
We’re guessing this is just Paratici approaching the player’s entourage to let them know he’s interested and is willing to pay him a handsome wage to move to north London, as there is no mention of an actual bid being made for the player to Fiorentina.
Should that happen, however, the ‘obstacle’ is the asking price set by the Serie A side, who ‘want something like €60m’ for the forward, who scored 21 Serie A goals last season.
Vlahovic is currently contracted to Fiorentina until 2023, and the Italians have been doing their best to renew to avoid this exact situation: bigger clubs trying to turn his head with enticing offers.
