It wouldn’t be too hard to think Grzegorz Krychowiak regrets ever leaving Sevilla. Signed by a PSG who seemingly didn’t need him and were stocking the cupboards in case of famine, Krychowiak started sliding down a slippery slope.

A loan move to West Bromwich Albion won’t have been part of the Polish international’s plans, but to be fair to the midfielder, he’s simply got on with things and is trying to get his career back on track.

L’Equipe, however, aren’t impressed.

Looking for ways PSG can raise money to help their FFP cause, Krychowiak is picked out along with Jese Rodriguez. The West Brom loanee is said to be ‘Oscillating between average and mediocre’ with his Premier League performances, which isn’t exactly talking his value up.

The French newspaper point out Krychowiak hasn’t yet won a Premier League match, despite 8 attempts, and they feel he’s simply not worth anything like what PSG paid.

Joining PSG for around €30m, L’Equipe believe the club would now be lucky to get much more than half of that for the 27 year old.

That could be a good deal for West Brom should they be looking to make the move permanent.
