Valencia manager Jose Bordalas has again insisted they will look at the situation around Tottenham youngster Bryan Gil when the time comes to do so.

Gil is currently on loan at the Spanish side, having returned to La Liga in the January transfer window in search of regular playing time.

He’s gotten just that under Bordalas, establishing himself as a first-team star under his leadership with a series of impressive performances.

The Tottenham man is now firmly a fan favourite, and those in the Mestalla have regularly called for him to extend his stay at the club beyond the summer when his loan deal from Tottenham ends.

This is a sentiment that Bordalas has shared, while several reports have insisted that Valencia will do their utmost to make some sort of deal happen.

It will all depend on Tottenham’s willingness, and Bordalas insists they will discuss the situation when the time comes to do so.

“I have no knowledge,” Super Deporte report him saying.

“Obviously, now my club knows that I am focused on the competition, and any movement will be communicated to me.

“Bryan is contributing and helping us a lot, but he belongs to Tottenham, and when the time comes, that opportunity will be addressed.”
