The America version of Marca today shows some concern regarding Christian Pulisic’s situation at Chelsea.
With the attacker having little playing time under Thomas Tuchel, the switch of command at Stamford Bridge was seen as something positive for him, as Graham Potter could change his status in the squad.
The problem is that Pulisic has been ignored in important Chelsea games recently. That happened in both the Champions League clash against AC Milan, where he did not leave the bench, and now in the 2-0 win against Aston Villa at the weekend.
Marca writes it was a ‘major surprise’ that the 24-year-old didn’t play against Steven Gerrard’s side, as he’s now the attacker who Potter ‘trusts the least’, since he’s been using all the other options he has in the squad. It’s said there’s ‘incredulity’ from his entourage regarding the situation.
The outlet claims that the ‘old ghosts are back’ for Pulisic, and a potential departure from the club is already mentioned, with Newcastle United and Juventus being named as clubs who’d like to have him in the near future.
