According to a claim in the Turkish media, Fenerbahce are showing interest in Crystal Palace midfielder Jefferson Lerma.
Since the arrival of Jose Mourinho the Super Lig giants have been linked with a number of players from England.
Sporx report on Fenerbahce’s pursuit of the Colombia international and they say officials from the Yellow Canaries will travel to England this week to hold transfer talks with Crystal Palace. It’s also reported Lerma’s agent will be present at these meetings.
The Turkish media outlet claim Fenerbahce are ready to make an offer for the 29-year-old and are prepared to pay up to €15m for him.
Fenerbahce have been in the market for a defensive midfielder. Tottenham Hotspur pair Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur have both been linked with the club but they have other options as well.
Lerma made 31 appearances for Crystal Palace last season, scoring one goal. He’s contracted to the Eagles until June 2026, with the London club have the option to extend this for another year.
