Tottenham and Liverpool have been among the clubs trying to snatch David de la Víbora from Real Madrid.
According to AS, clubs including Spurs and the Reds have sent offers to the player recently, trying to stop him from signing his first professional contract with the Spanish side.
Those efforts have been in vain, with the Spanish newspaper explaining Real Madrid have fought hard to keep the youngster, and have now managed to get the 16 year old to sign his first professional deal.
This means that Tottenham, Liverpool and anyone else interest would have to pay a transfer fee to Madrid to get any deal done now, rather than simply snatching the player away.
AS explains De la Víbora is a defender who has spent much of his time in the youth system at left back. He’s in the Cadet A team and his future is being managed by Stellar Group, who are based in London.
It’s taken several months of talks to get him to snub other offers, and AS says Manchester United, PSG and Juventus were other interested clubs.
