Today, we’ve been seeing several stories regarding the future of Tottenham Hotspur defender Davinson Sanchez.
It’s been claimed that as the player has been offered to several French sides, Monaco are particularly interested in getting him signed and an offer was expected in the next few days.
It turns out that Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra now shares some news on the player, he claims that the Ligue 1 club are indeed coming to sign him from Tottenham, just earlier than expected.
On Twitter, the reporter writes that after many clubs approached Spurs to get more information on Sanchez’s situation, Monaco should make an offer in the ‘next few hours’.
It’s said the principality side have ‘advanced talks’ with Tottenham for the transfer, so they pretty much seem to be leading the race right now.
Even though Sanchez was also wanted by Spartak Moscow, it’s claimed that the ‘sociopolitical’ issues that Russia have been going through made the transfer collapse.
Previous reports from France had claimed that Tottenham received offers of €10m from Galatasaray and €15m from the Russians for the defender, so we now shall see how much Monaco will put on the table to get the transfer done.
