Galatasaray remain interested in signing Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, reports Takvim.
In recent weeks we’ve covered claims from Turkey that Galatasaray are considering bringing in the Frenchman as speculation over his future at Goodison Park continues.
Everton have already signed Manchester City’s Fabian Delph this summer and are also reportedly closing in on Mainz’s Jean-Philippe Gbamin. Due to Everton’s transfer business this summer, and his general situation at the club, Schneiderlin could leave and Takvim say Galatasaray are pressing hard to make the deal happen.
According to the Turkish newspaper, Gala have offered a €1.5m loan fee to Everton and are hoping the Premier League side will accept this.
The Turkish champions are also willing to pay €3.5m a season to the former Manchester United player and he’s reportedly spoken to his Everton teammate Cenk Tosun about life in Istanbul.
Takvim claim the 29 year old is keen to continue his career in the Super Lig under Fatih Terim, as he wants to play in the Champions League with Galatasaray.
