Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has given Tanguy Ndombélé a chance to impress him during the pre-season tour. The 26-year-old, who was on loan at Napoli last season, continues to draw attention from clubs elsewhere.
On July 19th, Turkish journalist Ertan Süzgün stated Spurs rejected Galatasaray’s €8m bid for Ndombélé. Süzgün also reported Fenerbahçe are also in the picture for him.
Takvim have a report focusing on Fenerbahçe’s efforts to sign the Tottenham midfielder.
It’s further claimed the Turkish club have ‘made contact’ with Tottenham for the former Lyon man, who’s no longer considered at the north London club for the new season.
Takvim explain that an ‘offer was made’ by Fenerbahçe to take him on a loan deal with an option to buy. In response, the Premier League side’s representative have informed the Istanbul club that they are looking to sell the player.
Ndombélé’s contract is until 2025 and the outlet makes no mention of the fee requested by Postecoglou’s side.
