NtvSpor have reported Galatasaray are seriously interested in Manchester City defender Jason Denayer.
The Turkish website explain Igor Tudor wants to add two new central defenders to his squad for next season and the Galatasaray board are considering the possibility of signing the Manchester City player once again.
The 22 year old spent the 2015/16 campaign at Galatasaray and the Turkish club wanted to loan him again for this season, but Pep Guardiola blocked the deal. The Belgian international instead spent this season on loan with Sunderland, which turned out to be a disastrous campaign with David Moyes’ side.
Galatasaray, reportedly, will make an offer to Manchester City to loan him for next season, and the Turkish giants are hopeful an agreement can be reached. Denayer himself would be keen to join Galatasaray again as his former teammate Lionel Carole said ‘he cried’ when his move to Galatasaray didn’t happen last summer.
NtvSpor said it’s currently unknown if the loan deal will include a redemption clause, but Galatasaray’s board may consider signing him permanently in the future.
