Aksam today reports Galatasaray have made an offer to Everton for Cenk Tosun.

The Turkish side are in the market for a goalscorer this summer as they look to strengthen their squad for next season.

Gala are already guaranteed a place in the Champions League group stages and will be looking to get into the knockout stages of the competition.

It seems the attacker is an option for the Turkish champions but it’s not reported if they will look to get a loan deal or sign him permanently.

Tosun has in the past 12 months has been linked with a return to Turkey following claims his former club Besiktas wanted to loan him back. Fenerbahce have also been reported to be interested in the Everton player.

The 28 year old wants to play regular first team football at this stage of his career and he could now consider leaving Everton after joining the Merseyside club during the 2018 winter window.

Last season the Turkey international made 25 appearances, scoring 3 goals.

He is under contract at Goodison Park until June 2022.
