Rumoured Manchester United target Jules Koundé has hinted he wants the move to a bigger club at some point in his career.
Koundé is one of the hottest prospects in European football, having starred for Sevilla over the last two seasons.
He’s already been linked with a move to one of the big clubs in Europe, with Manchester City pushing to get him last season but refusing to pay Sevilla’s asking price.
This summer, it is their rivals Manchester United who apparently want the Frenchman as they look for a long-term partner for Harry Maguire.
They’ve been linked on a regular basis for months, with the latest reports from Spain insisting they are ‘very interested’ in getting Koundé this summer.
Whether that happens remains to be seen, and in the meantime, the defender will be in focus at the European Championships, where he has a chance of turning out for France.
Those links to Manchester United won’t go away, though, and he was recently asked about a move as a result.
“Regarding my future, it is certain that I may have to change this summer” RMC Sport report him saying.
“But nothing has been decided yet; I haven’t decided anything.
“Obviously, my goal is to play one day in a big club, to try to progress and win trophies too. I might have to move, but that’s not on the cards.”
