Two days ago, UOL stated Nottingham Forest intend to replace Danilo with CF Monterrey’s Nelson Deossa this summer. They also reported he’s keen on making a switch to England amid interest from Brazil and Portugal.

DAZN, relayed by Futbol Red, report Nottingham Forest and Real Betis are the two clubs tussling to sign the midfielder.

It’s claimed Nuno Espírito Santo’s side want to add the 25-year-old to their squad for the new season.

Nottingham Forest and Betis interest is also reported by TV Azteca in Mexico, who say the Reds are keen but haven’t made a formal offer so far.

Over at Olé, it’s claimed Real Betis have tabled a €10m bid for the Colombian, which has already been rejected.

The player joined the Mexican club at the start of this year and signed a contract until December 2028. Olé claims he has a release clause of around $20m [€17.2m], but Monterrey are willing to sell the South American for €15m.

The report makes no mention of Nottingham Forest, who have to tussle with Real Betis, if they wish to secure Deossa’s services this summer.
