The Gustavo Scarpa saga may have sounded boring for Nottingham Forest fans many times, but we’re now getting to see some actual developments in this story.
On Monday, reports from the Brazilian media had already claimed that the player had shown ‘positive’ signs to Flamengo ahead of a potential move to the club.
Now as Goal Brasil writes about the situation, they claim the player’s entourage is also in favour of a transfer to Brazil.
It’s said Scarpa’s staff already heard from Nottingham Forest that the club ‘do not intend to use him’, and since his loan at Nottingham Forest hasn’t been great, they now see his return to his home country ‘with good eyes’.
The story claims that the Tricky Trees ‘accept to negotiate’ the player’s exit for something between €5m and €6m.
Now it’s up to the interested sides to send Nottingham Forest a good offer. Atlético Mineiro, Vasco da Gama, Internacional and Flamengo have all been linked to him lately, so there’s a chance that could turn into an auction in the coming weeks.
Globo Esporte is also coming with an update claiming Flamengo are set to ‘intensify the talks’ to convince the player to move.
