According to reports in the Italian media, Nottingham Forest are to table an offer for AS Roma goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski.

The Championship side have been busy in this transfer window, and yesterday announced the arrival of Sporting Lisbon defender Tobias Figueiredo, who became Aitor Karanka’s first signing.

TMW have reported via Sky Italia, Nottingham Forest will offer AS Roma €5m for Skorupski, but they face a race against time to get a deal done for the Pole.

Karanka is looking to strengthen his squad after being installed as Nottingham Forest manager, and Skorupski is an option in the final hours of this window.

The 26 year old signed for Roma in 2013, but he’s made just five Serie A appearances for the Italian club.

For the past couple of seasons he’s been loaned out to Serie B side Empoli, where he was their No.1, before returning to the Italian capital.

The player is contract to Roma until June 2021.
