Loïc Mbe Soh joined Nottingham Forest in 2020 and has made 12 appearances since then, out of which two were this season. He is yet to make an appearance in the Premier League.
Earlier this month, Foot Mercato reported the centre-back could leave the City Ground in January in search of regular game time. It was also explained the 21-year-old’s profile is very popular at Guingamp.
The second division French club have had their eyes on the Nottingham Forest player for several weeks, according to Jeunes Footeux.
The defender is ‘fast approaching’ the Ligue 2 side as discussions between all parties involved are ‘moving in the right direction’.
It’s further explained a deal for Loïc Mbe Soh to join Guingamp in the winter market is in the process of being sealed, and a few details are left to settle to complete the loan transfer. Therefore, the operation should be ‘formalised very soon’.
There’s no clarity on whether it will be a dry loan deal or Guingamp will be given an option/obligation to buy Loïc Mbe Soh next summer.
Nottingham Forest will surely prefer the latter.
