Nottingham Forest are one of the clubs in the mix to sign AC Milan youngster Jan-Carlo Simić, according to a report from Germany.
Last summer, the Serie A side took the defender from VfB Stuttgart and included him in their youth team, where he scored two goals and registered two assists from 36 games.
His form seems to have caught the attention of Nottingham Forest and other clubs. That’s at least what Sky Deutschland are reporting and add that the 18-year-old is in ‘great demand’.
It’s explained that several Bundesliga sides have shown interest to sign the centre-back on a season-long loan deal. The details of these clubs aren’t mentioned.
In addition to this, Steve Cooper’s side, newly promoted Serie A side Frosinone Calcio and Club Brugge are the teams from outside Germany to have their eyes set on the teenager. There’s no mention if these three clubs are willing to take further steps to sign him.
The Serbia U19 international is aiming to have regular playing time with the first team next season and whether that’s at Milan or elsewhere remains to be seen.
