Last week, Gianluca di Marzio reported on Nottingham Forest’s interest in Bologna’s Dan Ndoye.
Over the weekend, claims emerged about the Tricky Trees’ first offer for the winger and now Quotidiano Sportivo have added more details about the Switzerland international’s situation.
The report states Nottingham Forest have offered around €40m for Ndoye but that is unlikely to be enough. Bologna want €50m and only an amount like that would be considered ‘indecent’ enough for talks to seriously begin.
So far, the Rossoblu’s firm stance has repelled any approaches and even Napoli have backed away from the wide player in the past few days.
The 24-year-old picked up an injury two minutes into a friendly against Virtus Verona yesterday. That left the player ‘extremely nervous’ and he asked to be substituted.
It remains to be seen whether this impacts Nottingham Forest’s move but Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will have to pay more to convince Bologna if they want to go through with the transfer.
