Nottingham Forest will turn their attention to Atalanta’s Ruslan Malinovskyi after completing a move for teammate Remo Freuler.

That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who say Steve Cooper’s side are ready to make a ‘maxi offer’ to try and convince the Italian side.

They explain that Nottingham Forest are making an ‘assault’ on Atalanta this summer, with Freuler in England today for medicals and the signing of his contract.

He’s set to join in a €9m plus €3m deal but he might not be the only man arriving in Nottingham from Atalanta this summer.

The newly promoted Premier League side are also targeting his teammate Malinovskyi and are readying a ‘maxi offer’ to try and convince Atalanta into a sale.

The Serie A side aren’t seemingly keen on selling the 29-year-old, so Nottingham Forest’s offer will need to be a good one if they are to let the Ukrainian leave.

The nature of the offer that Forest have prepared isn’t made clear but the stance seems to be they’ll need to offer Atalanta something they simply can’t refuse if the Ukraine international is to follow Freuler to England.
