Two days ago, we carried a report from Sports World Ghana, who explained Anderlecht’s Francis Amuzu has emerged as a January target for Nottingham Forest.

Forest have endured a difficult run in the league this season and are sitting in 19th spot in the table.

Chris Hughton’s side are looking for attacking reinforcements and the 21-year-old is back in their sights, according to Het Belang van Limburg.

It’s explained Nottingham Forest’s interest in the winger is not new. They knocked on Anderlecht’s door for the player in the summer, but the approach was dismissed by Vincent Kompany’s side. The Championship club are ‘making another attempt’ to take the forward in the winter market.

HBVL add it remains to be seen if either the player or the Belgian side are interested in doing business.

Another outlet, La Dernière Heure, states English side ‘continue to follow Amazu’.

They explain Nottingham Forest have been following Kompany’s man for ‘several months’ and Amazu’s ‘rise’ in recent weeks could prompt them to ‘make an offer’ in the winter market.

Amazu has one assist in 14 league appearances for Anderlecht this season.
