Former sporting director of Fiorentina, Pedro Pereira, has been offered a chance to get back to work just after leaving the Serie A club two days ago.
According to Italian website Firenze Viola, Nottingham Forest have made an ‘important proposal’ to Pereira.
It’s likely Pereira has been offered the role of director of football, as the Championship club’s owner Fawaz Al Hasawi earlier confirmed they’re looking into possible candidates.
Pereira is likely to evaluate the offer in the coming days, before making a decision.
He spent one year at the Serie A club, and has also worked at Portuguese club Braga.
Nottingham Forest are currently without a manager, with some major rebuilding work to be done, and it’d be interesting to see if Pereira is tempted by the offer.
