Nottingham Forest have seen a €10m joint bid for Real Betis duo Alex Moreno and Willian Carvalho rejected by Real Betis.
That’s according to ABC Sevilla, who say their bid has been deemed ‘insufficient’ by those in charge of the Spanish club.
The newspaper explains that both players have been linked with moves to Nottingham Forest in England in recent weeks but ABC say they are yet to match the market value of either player.
Forest considered making a joint bid for the players through agents, which would have seen them paying a ‘very low amount’ of €10m.
That was ‘rejected outright’ by Betis, who not only considered it below the market value of both players but also below their expectations after their respective performances last season.
They consider the price offered as ‘insufficient’, although there is no mention of the price they would be willing to do business at.
Either way, Nottingham Forest’s initial bid was nowhere near enough and it remains to be seen if they’ll return with an improved offer.
