Nottingham Forest look well placed to qualify for Europe this season.

If they do, their squad would need improvements and this could see them potentially sign players who have the experience of playing in European competitions.

The Tricky Trees are said to already be preparing to move for a player of that type in the summer transfer window.

ASRomaLive have reported that Nottingham Forest are interested in Italian midfielder Bryan Cristante.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s side have made a ‘request for information’ for the Roma man, who is being monitored to bolster their midfield. The outlet explains there is an ‘excellent relationship’ between Cristante’s agent Beppe Riso and Nottingham Forest’s CEO Lina Souloukou, who has previously worked at the Giallorossi.

In an attempt to tempt the 29-year-old, the top four chasers can also offer Nicolas Dominguez in their move for Cristante, even if that has been described as a mere ‘hypothesis’.

The Argentine would be interested in an exit from Nottingham Forest and would be attracted by a return to Serie A, where he previously plied his trade with Bologna.
