Takvim claim Nottingham Forest are continuing to show an interest in Galatasaray striker Mbaye Diagne, who’s currently on loan at Club Brugge.
The Senegalese striker, who was linked with a move to Leeds United when he was playing for fellow Super Lig side Kasimpasa, is currently out of the first team picture at Belgian club after his troubles with his manager Philippe Clement and teammates.
Subsequently, the 28 year old is looking for a new club for next season and Takvim report Nottingham Forest are interested in his signature.
We recently covered reports from Turkish press which backed up these reports but Takvim now claim the Championship side will knock on Galatasaray’s door if they get promoted to the Premier League.
Sabri Lamouchi’s side are fifth in the Championship table with 11 games left, and they have a decent chance of getting promotion via the play-offs if the league resumes.
Diagne scored 31 goals in the Turkish Super Lig last season but was sent out on loan to Club Brugge after the Istanbul club signed Radamel Falcao in the summer.
His contract with Galatasaray will expire at the end of June 2023.
