For the past few weeks, Nottingham Forest have been pushed forward as contenders to sign Fluminense’s Nino in the winter market.
Four days ago, O Dia reported the 26-year-old wants to play in the Premier League and has an offer from the Tricky Trees.
O Tempo state the Brazilian club could lose at least three players next month, including Nino, who is wanted by Nottingham Forest. They add the two parties have been having talks, likely over a potential deal in January.
According to ESPN in Brazil, Fluminense’s ‘most anticipated departure’ at the moment is that of the centre-back.
As it stands, the player hasn’t agreed a deal with any club but Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are the ‘big favourites’ to land him.
Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà claims AS Roma and Feyenoord are also interested in the South American. His deal expires in December 2024 and it includes a €7m release clause.
The Serie A side and Feyenoord would like to ‘do everything possible’ to acquire Nino’s signature in January.
Pedullà states the two clubs would have to act fast because Nottingham Forest are keen on bringing the South American to the Premier League.
