In the past few days, the Italian media has been featuring several stories regarding AC Milan’s interest in Japhet Tanganga, with the Rossoneri working hard on the signing.
It turns out that as journalist Gianluigi Longari talks about the defender’s situation today, he adds two Premier League sides to the battle: Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.
The reporter claims that even though Milan ‘continue their dialogue’ for the signing, as they work on the transfer formula, they now face heavy competition for the 23-year-old.
It’s claimed that Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest have both ‘taken information’ for the centre-back, even though it isn’t clear yet how much they’d be willing to pay for his signing.
Recent stories from the Italian media have been claiming that Milan are working on a deal where they’d sign the versatile defender on a loan deal and then have the option to buy him for around €25m.
So if Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest are now informed about the conditions, they know it won’t be an easy task to take the player from London.
