Nottingham Forest and AFC Bournemouth are in the picture to sign Schalke’s Taylan Bulut.
Earlier this month, we covered claims from Germany which stated Nuno Espírito Santo’s side and the Cherries have ‘come knocking’ for the 19-year-old. It was also said the interest makes it difficult for Schalke to renew his contract, which currently expires in 2026.
Bild report on Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth interest in the right-back when covering Schalke’s economic situation.
The second division German club’s debt is currently €162m and they need to raise funds by selling some of their players.
The report states ‘player sales are looming’ and work needs to be done in the last week of the winter market. Schalke have several candidates who can leave in this window and the defender is included in this list.
According to Bild, the Germany U19 international is currently valued at €2m and ‘all doors are open’ for him to leave the club.
When discussing Bulut’s interested parties, both Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth are mentioned.
The fullback is on the Premier League agenda, and the clubs now have an easy route to sign him before the window closes next Monday.
