Panagiotis Tachtsidis hasn’t even made his debut for Nottingham Forest and should already be leaving the club, according to claims from Italy.

Local outlet Lecce Prima writes today that the Greek midfielder is in the city to sign for Lecce, and an official announcement should be made once he’s approved after a medical.

Lecce Prima claims that the Serie A side have already reached an agreement with Tachtsidis and Nottingham Forest, so the transfer is now just a matter of time.

The 27-year-old signed for Forest last summer on a free move from Olympiacos, but never had a chance to play for the club, having made it to the bench in the Championship only once.

The midfielder has played for eight different Italian clubs in the past, so signing for Lecce should almost mean he’s going home.

For now, Lecce Prima doesn’t seem to know any details of how much will Lecce pay Forest for the transfer.
