This week, as the German media spoke of Nottingham Forest’s interest in VfB Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy, it was claimed they could get him signed for just €15m.
With the player having such a low release clause, the Bundesliga side have had good reason to worry about him leaving all of a sudden.
However, according to a fresh report from Bild, Nottingham Forest and any other interested clubs should actually hurry up.
The player’s contract says he can be released until the day of the first game of the season, and with Stuttgart playing Balingen on Saturday, that’s the deadline for him.
Bild mentions that Nottingham Forest are interested in the player, highlighting that the Reds would need to meet the clause in the next three days, as well as find a personal agreement with the player.
Guirassy is said to be ‘comfortable’ in the city and in the squad, so it’s not ruled out that he could turn down a move to the Premier League to stay in Germany.
