Having arrived at Old Trafford from Ajax in the summer window, Lisandro Martínez has started six games in the league for Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag again used the 24-year-old alongside Raphaël Varane in the heart of his side’s defence for the Red Devils’ 3-1 victory over Arsenal. The former was taken off the pitch in the final quarter of the match and was replaced by Harry Maguire.
The Argentina international needed medical assistance before he was substituted and there were concerns about him picking up an injury. These suggestions are dismissed via claims from his country.
Olé point out the centre-back sat on the pitch holding his left adductor before going off. Despite the concern, they state the South American was seen ‘walking without difficultly’, after the final whistle.
The Manchester United player has been included in Lionel Scaloni’s squad for September’s international break. Taking this into account, Olé speak of caution but don’t seem too concerned.
Lisandro Martínez está bien. Solamente se le cargó un poco el aductor. Salió por precaución. Nada grave. pic.twitter.com/9osM0ngmlR

Meanwhile, TyC Sports reporter Gastón Edul stated there is ‘nothing serious’ and Martínez is ‘fine’. Edul adds the United manager decided to take off the defender as a precautionary measure.
