On Sunday we covered Gazzetta dello Sport’s take on Bruno Alves moving from Rangers to Benevento.
Out of Graeme Murty’s plans, Alves is very much available but Gazzetta explained there was work going on to shorten the difference between expectations from the parties involved.
Benevento, not fully convinced the Rangers transfer is going to happen, were already indentifying alternative targets.
Tuttosport also have their own take on the situation and say the transfer isn’t simple at all for Benevento. They believe the Italian club, at the time of publication, hasn’t yet found an agreement with Rangers.
There were claims on Sunday from Scotland that an agreement has been found, and in all honesty that can’t be the difficult part of the transfer talks.
Tuttosport say Benevento also have to find a deal with Bruno Alves himself, and that’s where the trouble is likely to be found.
The Italian club aren’t going to want to match his Rangers wages and with the likelihood of relegation a very real thing, they probably don’t to commit beyond the end of the season either.
