Among the many players who’ve been linked to Chelsea in the past few months, there’s Porto star Jesus Corona.
Reports from the English, the Portuguese and the Mexican press have all claimed tha the Blues are one of the candidates to land the 27-year-old this summer.
Today, newspaper A Bola brings a piece on the player’s future, claiming it should take €30m to sign him in the upcoming transfer window.
This is the price set in Corona’s release clause, and it’s claimed that Porto won’t accept ‘a penny less’ when negotiating his sale.
The good news is that Corona actually used to have a release clause of €50m, and demanded it to be lowered to €30m when signing his latest extension.
A Bola points out that Chelsea are one of the clubs who’ve been linked to the player, but are not the only ones, so the competition for him should be big in the summer.
His agent Matias Bunge has been contacted by several European sides, so there’s a chance the Blues already know about this anyways.
But, now you know too.
