Following a good loan at Milan last season, Diogo Dalot could remain in Italy for an extra campaign.
That is according to Corriere dello Sport, who have a brief bit of information regarding the Manchester United defender, unable to stop his country from going out of the Euros on Sunday night as Portugal lost 1-0 to Belgium.
Dalot now likely has a busy summer ahead of him, as he and the Red Devils will need to decide what his future is made of, and whether or not it’s far from Old Trafford.
The defender was sent to Milan because he didn’t fall in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans, and that doesn’t appear to have changed.
Corriere dello Sport explain that talks are already underway between the Serie A side and Manchester United, and ‘there isn’t a lot missing’ before an agreement for next season is achieved.
In fact, ‘the modalities of a new loan are being defined’, with Dalot’s arrival in Italy all but ‘confirmed’ in their eyes.
