Sold by Chelsea to Lyon over the summer for a surprisingly low amount, Bertrand Traoré took some time to adapt to Ligue 1, but things are starting to click now.

Winning their last six games in a row, the French club have seemingly found the right formula up front, which includes the Burkina Faso international.

With two goals in his last three games, the player’s form has caught the eye of a few, and Onze Mondial sat down with the 22-year-old to discuss various things, including a potential transfer to Manchester United.

Of course, that doesn’t mean Manchester United are necessarily interested in him at the moment, although it wouldn’t be surprising if someone was keeping an eye on him considering José Mourinho’s apparent soft spot for Traoré.

Asked about it by the French magazine, the Lyon winger was relatively open to a potential move to Old Trafford as a next step in his career.

He said: “Why not? I’m gong to work hard and if the opportunity arises, why not?”

Revealing he also had the chance to go to Marseille, Traoré has the perfect teammate to tell him all about what you must and mustn’t do if the chance to sign for Manchester United were to come up in Memphis Depay.

Considering how fresh his arrival is, this certainly won’t happen in January, but if the Red Devils feel like giving Lyon the chance to make a huge profit on a £9m move, we’re sure they’ll probably consider it.
